The only team seeded 4-8 they gained a game on was Houston in that time.

Doesn't that seem like a huge overreaction? I mean what kind of owner fires a head coach for failing to make the playoffs when his best player (a perennial MVP candidate) missed a month and this might end up being the hardest season ever to make the playoffs in the West? Yeah I know... but this guy is also a Coach of the Year winner who's won his division four years in a row.
