Voisin wants Kings to move Karl to the front office

Oh great, Vlade talked with Pop and Adelman so he's got everything he needs. Well, I talked to John Wooden. Now make me head coach, gm, and president. Take the mail room guy, have him talk to a couple of Fortune 500 corporation presidents, and then make him the president of General Electric. The Kings are a billion dollar enterprise. They deserve, no we deserve better, than a GM trainee.

Your stance on this point is just unreasonable.

You still haven't articulated what this magic knowledge is that is supposed to separate the men from the boys in GM land.

Let's take a look at a few former player GM resumes before they were hired shall we?

Danny Ferry
- plays in league 13 years
- two years (2003-05) as midlevel front office in San Antonio
- HIRED AS GM of Cavs

Danny Ainge
-- plays in league 14 years
-- coaches Suns for 2 1/2 years
-- part time announcer
-- HIRED AS GM of Celts

Joe Dumars
-- plays in league 14 years (to 1999)
-- sits out 1 year, not sure if he had a minor role in Detroit or not
-- HIRED AS GM of Pistons in 2000

Vlade Divac
-- plays in league 16 years
-- 1 year as scout for Lakers
-- 2 years figurehead at Real Madrid
-- 2009-2016 head of Serbian Olympic Committee (apparently still holds title)
-- HIRED AS GM of Kings in 2015

And now of course you could add in -- 1 year as GM of the Kings to his qualifications

No. Just no. Well, in fact, OH HELL NO!

In my previous rant, I should have included Ailene Voisin. I think she's past her prime, too. George Karl is part of the freaking problem. You don't reward him by keeping him around. Period. End of discussion.

LMFAO. damn the stench around the team really reeks of 10 day old curry. who got the dynamite so we can blow this team up and rebuild already.

Ok, tell me what qualifies someone to be a GM in your view who was not been GM before?
Since there is no GM school, serving as a GM cannot be a prerequisite.
