Finally, and mercifully, here we are nearing the end of one of the worst TDOS' in recent memory.
We are about to have all of the unknowable questions answered. Just 36 more days. That is one month and six days for you left handed folks. A blink of the eye, really.
All of the guessing and pontificating about who is the best, who will do what, is about to be put to rest.
Will Mike know who the father of Brads' baby is? Will Ron be let out of the asslyum in time to come to the rescue? Will Kevins' new hair-do really give him super human strength? And most importantly. Will Grant be supplanted by Jerry, or will his summer trip to New York end up in a near fatal plane crash and coma from which he finally awakes to find he has a bad case of amnesia?

I have NBA League Pass and they did not show any pre-season games last year but who knows what may happen this year. NBATV may show some pre-season games but nothing has been posted yet. All of the Kings pre-season games will be shown on Comcast SportsNet this year.

This TDOS was dominated by the Bonzi and Arena stories. Both are/were painful. It didn't help either that Brad didn't do much on the National team, possibly confirming our worst fears about him.

It would have been a better TDOS if we skipped all that and just had something like KT punching someone at a bar and having to do community service for it. We would have gotten some good laughs out of that.

I expect this preseason to be a little more interesting. I'm curious to see what the new regime is going to look like.

x2, I'm totally with you on this. This has been very boring, I haven't been on the board that long, but I keep coming back and still see Bonzi is rumored to go here and there etc. It really sucks that Steve Irwin was killed, but that's the way he would have wanted to go out. He was also pushing the envelope. I sure have a lot of respect for that Aussie, he almost had super human ability I swear, but his death really brought us all back to reality that lift is very fragile and we have to be happy for what we have, how small and crappy it might be at the time.
Besides him not being around, I really feel bad for his wife Terry and their 2 kids, they are now without a father (a true legend) that they haven't had much time with. It's sad to think that they can really only remember him based on what they see on TV and maybe some other memories, but they are young right?

Anyways, sorry to be so negative, the offseason is almost over and we have some football to watch in the meantime. I'm a big time soccer fan as well so that keeps me busy.
For football, GO PACKERS, you're going to need it this year with those Bears. Favre is a true class act and I don't get tired watching this guy play, that's really the only reason I like the Pack anyways, well almost!!!

Hell, my friends and I could start a rec league and call the winner "Master of the Universe". Doesn't mean that the Master of the Universe wouldn't get a severe beatdown by the mere "NBA champs".
