News10 is reporting that our very own Slamson won the mascot championships, held in June in Yosemite National Park. The stunts he did during the competition were, at least from what was shown, incredible.

Actually I watched the video on the Kings site a few weeks ago. It really was quite a stunt. Don't think they would ever get me to do that...in a lion's suit, no less.

Holy crap!! Just watched the video...I would have passed out by just looking over the edge, let alone traversing down, and then hanging over nothing but...well, nothing! Hey, Slamson gets major props from me for that!

Impressive, eh? Even though I know nothing bad will happen to him, it still makes me nervous while I'm watching it. And oh my, you can hear that wind blowing, which only adds to the tension for me.

Congrats to Slamson!! He's one of the reason (other than Kings) that I enjoy watching when I go to the games!!

I just recently bought a Slamson teddy bear for my friend. It's going to be her birthday and I know she'll love it!!
