I'm sure that increasing Porter Jr.'s FGAs per 100 possessions by 35 percent and his usage rate by 50 percent is purely coincidence?
Well, he shooting the lights out at volume (51.5% from three on 11 shots per game) and while touches are going to give him more shots/assists, it's kinda hard to boost rebounds (8.7 per game) and steals (2 per game) in the same way.
Sure, they probably told him "now's your chance to show out so give full effort", but the full-effort results are pretty nice (if he can be bothered to keep that effort up).
