At least he'll have a shot at ROY next year...
if you never read it, check out this article written last Summer by Simmons
"Open Letter to Blake Griffin
Run. Just start running. Run for your life. Run like the star of a horror movie. Don't turn around. Run and keep running....

Same thing happened with oden when he went down before his actual rookie year, he was considered a rookie last year because of the injury, same thing will happen with blake, he will be considered a rookie next yearWhat? He'll be qualified as a rookie next year?
Or is there some sarcasm I didn't catch?![]()
How bad would we be had we gotten the first pick and taken griffin? No Evans(obviously) no Martin, no Garcia, wow we'd just be terribly bad this year. Looks like someone was watching over us for a change...
Well technically he might not of came down funny after dunking had he been in sac... I'm just saying....
See the thing is that griffins knee was weakened because of how hard he works out. He does too many workouts with weights. He needed to do more conditioning workouts with agility and under water stuff. He overexerted himself. So I think an injury was coming regardless of where he was playing
Did I say he shouldn't have worked out? No. There's ways of working out and strengthening all those muscles and tendons without doing heavy weights
Working out is supposed to strengthen muscles and ligaments, not the other way around.
I never said he shouldn't have used weights. I just said he shouldve done more of the water and agility workouts
Take... these broken wings... and learn to fly awayyyyyyyyyy...
Next Number 1 that gets drafted by the Clips will pull a Eli Manning and demand to get the **** out of there. Has a player ever not shown up and refused to play for a team? I'd do it.
Funny how you equate his injury (and weakened knees?) to his workout regime. It isn't like the game of basketball has something to do with knee problems many players face while in the league and when they retire.
