Had to install all the little hooks on the house trim for our Christmas lights yesterday (new house - didn't have any hooks up to hang the lights yet) and my right thumb is a tad bit sore.
Put on about 100' or so of hooks at 16" on center. That covered the front of the house at the eave line. I think the garage and other side of the house will wait to next year. Dormer windows, too. Unless the weather is nice next weekend and I have time to kill, but I have anough on my plate already.
Didn't actually get the lights up yet. Soon.
I've seen folks getting their trees already, starting as early as Thanksgiving weekend. Is it just me, or is that just a tad bit early to get a tree? How can they keep it green that long? I think we'll get ours next weekend.
Oh, and I assume everyone has seen this, but it is time again to marvel at it:
