Celts considering Nick Young at #5?!?!

Andy Katz seems to think that it is possible that the Celts are considering Nick Young at #5. Would seem very high for Young (the earliest I have even seen him rumored was #8 to the Bobcats, and no one has him going much higher than 13th), but Katz has always struck me as well-informed and thorough, at least for a ESPN.com "talking head."

If Young went to the Celts at 5, it would certainly shake up the lottery in a HUGE way. Definitely increases the chances that we get someone we really want at 10. Of course this all likely means nothing, I just can't see them taking Young (if they even still own the 5 pick by draft time).

Still, something interesting to at least ponder about...

If that report is even remotely true I would seriously SERIOUSLY redouble my efforts to talk to Ainge about a #5 for #10 and player swap. Chances are very good that we could nab Young for Ainge from our #10 spot. Then we throw in a player and have Ainge hold one of the big PFs for us at #5. Win/win. Maybe go back to the idea of Brad and the #10 (Young) for the #5 and Ratliff's ender.
