Cavs vs Pistons - Game 5

Damn Cavs. There's no way Lebron can take out the heat. Looks like Miami will be playing in the finals:( .

Sheed needs to stop underperforming and play to his damn potential.

Any way we can get Mcdyess?

Great win for the Cavs. I hope they win the series. I was watching PTI the other day and Kornheiser said it'd be a miracle if Cleveland won another game after they won game 3. I love when that idiot has to eat his words, especially after he called Sacramento a rathole of a city.

Oh yeah I bet Detroit wish they had Larry brown now.
Nelson: Ha-ha. Larry Brown's special talent was to make GOOD desicions in games like this. Yeah, they wish.

So, in a world where the Cavs win 1 of the next 2 to take down the 64-18 Detroit former world champion Pistons, there's "no way" they can win against a Miami team with only a 2-game better record? Cleveland is playing well enough right now that I'd say it may be the Heat who should be scared heading into the finals. I would put down good money that Miami will lose to whoever emerges from Detroit/Cleveland.

I'd like to give my formal apologies to all of you who was arguing with me about James VF21 in particular.

I was wrong and no matter how the series will turn out - my view on James was completely changed.

A 21 yr old kid might lead his team to knocking off the team with the best record in the league and generally assumed to be East Finals representative. In his first playoffs. In which he is averaging 31ppg on 49% shooting, has several game winners, and two triple doubles. In a season when he finished 2nd in the MVP voting, and made First Team All-NBA while avergaing 31ppg 7rpg and 7apg.

Overhyped my patootie.

I would have never thought that the Cavs would win three games in this series. They are making it hard for the Pistons to be on the top of their game in the ECF.

Wait a minute! What if the Cavs win this series?!!

Then it may be LeBron's world, and we're all just living in it.

It just should not be possible, but every single time you try to throw down the "its not possible" in front of LeBron he just dunks right over it. If they can pull this off...well, might not matter who we hire as coach if the LeBron Era gets underway so quickly.

I'm certainly enjoying the ride, but don't really want the 10-12 year run of Lebron domination to start so soon...then he won't be as fun to watch. I much prefer his underdog status right now...

Interesting to see the cavs become a defensive monster team overnight and the pistons becoming foul prone just for this series. How many times has billups fouled out of a game. But I am very happy with the way things are going more cos I can say that "I said so" ;)

NBA is becoming more of a joke

Wow is all you can say. Before this series even started I had no thought of even watching them thinking "Boy will Cleveland get crushed." When I turn the channel and the CAVS are winning in Detroit. What's up with that? I know Lebron may be good and all but not really anyone on the team to help him out. Unbelievable.

Seriously, it is more about what Detroit doesn't do right now rather than what Cleveland does. If Cleveland somehow makes to the ECF, I am pretty sure Miami will get past Cleveland easily.

The Pistons are one game away from elimination, but Chauncey Billups isn't worried about beating the Cavaliers in Games 6 and 7 to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.

"I'm still not concerned," Billups said. "I know what we're capable of."

"How can you say that?" someone asked.

"Say what?"

"That you're not concerned?"

"Because I'm not concerned."

I mean how can you still be talking? Honestly, these guys need to just shut up and play.

You are down...Get over it, and instead of talking, PROVE IT.

I don't exactly agree. I think he's getting a lot of help from Vareajao (sp?). His energy has been a well needed kick for the Cavs bench. Every one else just does their thing on a time to time basis while LBJ does the rest.
