According to my DishNet guide, the Cavs-Lakers game will be rebroadcast at midnight tonight (PST) on the ESPN channel. Might be interesting to watch and see just how bad the officiating was and how mad the Laker fans got ...

There should be some sort of law against Laker fans complaining about the refs... just makes me laugh every time I see/hear it.

Kinda like the spoiled rich kid complaining when daddy doesn't buy him quite as nice a sports car as he did last year... :)

ditto :)

I am really enjoying the complaints about Shaq...

Not even a metal detector would help some of these fans sniff out the delicious irony! :)

Wow. The laker fans posting on one of their boards WERE right. The Kings did give the Cavaliers a much better game than the Lakers...

It was one of the most boring NBA games I've seen this year.

i loved watching every minute of that game. granted im a huge lebron fan but still... it was a thing of beauty on christmas day to watch kobe lose in a house full of laker fans. i loved it.

But it was a very weak game. Referees sucked in both ways, the comeback never came, poor shooting...

The funniest thing was Kobe smashed against Shaq stomach trying to penetrate...I think the point was Kobe tried to go all-star and Lebron didn't. The Cavs played more like a team, Mo Williams was great, Moon was great, Shaq and Iguaskas defense was incredible... But the Lakers were asleep it was all very boring and slow.

I think the funny match yesterday was Denver-Portland.

If the Kings play they way they did against the Cavs and if the Lakers play the way they just did against the Cavs the Kings will win the game handily.

Sacramento looked far and away better against Cleveland than did the Lakers.

And the officials never really had much impact on last nights game. Cleveland just played the better game from start to finish.

Nice cheap shot by Kobe on Mo Williams with a little over 7 mimutes left in the 3rd quarter. He got a flustered over a no call on the other end and went right down to the other end and shoved Mo Williams from behind. I won't hold my breath for a suspension though.

Here is the replay:

I won't either, but I'd sure like to see it. Kobe was so clearly agitated last night I'm surprised he didn't get tossed out of the game. One thing to look for tonight - if the Kings can get the Lakers off-balance early, we might see some pretty interesting foul calls. That's hoping, of course, that Dick Bavetta (who I didn't see officiating on any of yesterday's games) isn't in the building.
