Ehhh Ryan Anderson really isn't what we need. If we could put together a package to get Bass, I would love that. He's still only 25 and is playing quite well, I think he would fit perfectly with what we want to do.

A small jumpshooting PF? No, we already have one of those thx. We need to shave a frontcourt guy and call up Whiteside. We certainly don't need to be trading quality NBA starters liek Dalembert for longtime overpaid midget backups like Bass. With any luck we're done with that era.

I don't want to start another trade rumor or another thread about such, but Kenny Smith on TNT tonight mentioned Dalembert would be a really nice fit in Orlando to back up Howard for their stretch run. No doubt, with Gortat gone they could really use a shot blocker like Sammy to spell Dwight. Do Magic have any decent pieces (Ryan Anderson? w/ his only $1.4M) we'd consider or would they give us something more than just a #2 draft pick? Could we package it with another Kings player to really make deal a smash hit - maybe get a #1 pick back? Heck, I'd do it for local Sac product Anderson since we know Daly is gone at end of this season.

I would go after Jameer Nelson. I think Arenas might make him somewhat expendable given their situation with their bigs.

Casspi Draws international fans... and other than that he has the skills to be a really solid 3. I dont see us giving him up. the other teams do not in my opinion have any good chips to trade in for us.

greene's stock though is no where near the radar of any teams.

whiteside is playing in the D-league right now.. I dont know why let him learn on a lower tier competition... I would rather him make mistakes and learn with the big boys and DEVELOP synergy and team chemistry..

sure he will be a swat monster if he develops but what good is that if he doesnt know where reke will penetrate or where to pass to an open shooter..
