as with belinelli and koufos, this is another nice under-the-radar signing that adds important depth to a team that had none to speak of in the last couple of seasons. if butler can give the kings a solid 10-15 mpg while hitting 3's at his standard clip, then it's a pretty great move...

I totally agree! Actually though a player, any player hitting three's at a steady clip consistently would be a sight for sore eyes

I think a big reason he signed with the Kings is because he wants to show the contenders he still has some left in his tank to be a solid player and actually contribute to earning a ring. If he were to sign with the Spurs or Cavs he'd probably be a benchwarmer. At least with the Kings he'll probably get a fair shot at around 15-20 minutes a game.
