Maybe petrie did this to acquire some pieces to trade to utah for carlos boozer... utah wouldn't want webbers contract... so maybe they take some of the pieces they got in phily's trade (Corlis and skinner) who have reasonable 2 more years on their contracts and send them to utah in exchange for boozer... this is just a hunch, but i hope to goodness that petrie has something else up his sleeves... otherwise, petrie is either losing his mind or the maloofs are getting that pathetically cheap...

i wouldn't be so upset with this trade if it brought back someone with potential, like samuel dalembert or draft picks... but for three journey men players??? ..come on something else has to be up... it just has to...

But, without RealGM and without taking into consideration the trade that went down tonight, would you have wanted to trade Webber for Boozer, straight up?

Or, more accurately, would you have wanted to trade Webber, Barnes and Bradley for Boozer? Because, I'm still not liking that deal.

Well, none of the guys that we got have real individual value. So the only way to get Boozer would be to trade Pedja.

All average undersized undertalented bigs with long large contracts that no one will want to trade for and will never go away. The Knicks have a stable of these types of contracts. Maybe we're trying to beat them for most aweful contracts on one team ....
