Can't stop watching

We'll one game down for Artest and I can't help but study every move he makes. I think he might be the most watched King yet.

Will Artest bring the spot light back to Sac?

without a doubt. that's just the nature of ron artest. he's a highly watched figure in the media because of his antics and general unpredictability. i'm hoping he doesn't attract a whole lot of negative attention, but kings fans should be prepared for little things, like seeing him pull down an opposing player's shorts during a game and then singing an apology afterwards. ;)

i'm definitely looking forward to seeing him shutdown more of the top players in the league. i have to say, it was awfully fun to watch him frustrate the hell outta paul pierce tonight. :)

I don't see why he would. Sacramento fans are excited, but fans outside of Sac are probably going to tune in the first couple games and go on about business from then on. This is not Michael Jordan we're talking about here.

However, he will draw the crowd in Sac, for sure.

Knowing the media leaches, they will not look at him/us to sing any praises of defense, they will dissect everything and try to point out anything negative out of it. Not that it will necessarily be Artest's fault, but his every move will be watched and expect to see national headlines even if he gets a T from Violet Palmer.

yes, the Kings have a highly-watched player again and will be slightly more talked about...but still usually shunned by BSPN and TNT

All eyes will be on him and by extension the entire Kings franchise because most of the nation is just sitting back and waiting for him to ruin our season. Most of these people are positive that he's going to do something crazy and they'd be very pleased if he did so. So they're kicked back, salivating at the thought. Kings fans will be watching him intently because they have lots to learn about his game and they want to see how he's going to influence the team.

Our season is already ruined. It's just a matter of can he fix it.
