Could Peja be facing the David Duval syndrome???

Okay, even knowing who he is, not understanding the reference exactly. Guessing it might be career year syndrome?

Well, in my point of view, I think the only problem of this team is the style they played is different to the preseason games. The regular games won't be te same with preseason ones. Why not just recall the first couple of games in preseason, KINGS didin't play well because the new casts. They can't find the leader in the game. Mike still plays well in passing as a point guard but fails in his offense. He has the vision in the court and delivers many great assistances. That's his value and the major advantage over other PGs in this team. Once he was on the floor, he can control the game and the team. However, what's the difference to the style he was used to before? I think he just wants to take more responsibility in the game but the time is still not enough for him to do that. Just two of 82 games were performed, why not give they more confidence? By the way, Mike's defense is still not enough.
About the perspective of peja, he looks like a little rush in offense. But he still has some improvement in many other fields. Maybe this kind of play is not suit for him. He should be a catch-and-shoot style player and that's what he was used to be. This team has many versatile players , especially in this season. Bonzi is strong and Miller can score more. Reef looks like can give us more energy in the low post. That's really different to what we were before.
If everyone in this team can find his position in regular games, I think even the world championship is not a dream. What I saw this team is much more like Detroit Pistons in 2004.

anti-career year actually. you probably don't follow golf closely, so i wasn't expecting anyone to really know. duval fell off the face of the earth after winning a major. he can't even make the cut anymore. reference to peja.

The Pistons played defense. And didn't wilt in the clutch. And, you know, had hearts and whatnot...
and some guy named wallace who pulls down a few boards a game........................

lets not forget the sf that plays defense and rebounds..... and also uses his size to his advantage.......

that one wallace guy can also jump.... unlike that miller guy on our team, but they are exactly the same so why deal with technicalities?:):D:rolleyes::cool:

Where's the Bibby driving to the hole and kicking out or finishing? I see him tripping and such. He looks like he's wearing ice-skates sometimes. What's up?
Once my dad was drunk and he said," Mike Bibby plays ice-hockey."

Mike Bibby Q&A
November 4, 2005

Mike Bibby sat down with Kings.com and the local media after Friday's practice to talk about the Kings' 0-2 start and a variety of other topics. Here's what he had to say:

Kings.com: How long before you become concerned about your slow start?
Bibby: “I’m glad you guys think so highly of me that I can’t miss shots, but I can’t make every shot I shoot. It’s only been two games, so I’m not worried about it. If after 50, I’m still shooting like this, then it might be a problem.”

Kings.com: So would it be 50 games before you worried?
Bibby: “It might have to be a whole year. I’m not worried about my jump shot, it’ll come.”

Kings.com: There's rumors that you may have added too much muscle in the offseason, is it true?
Bibby: “No, do I look like I’m bigger? I think people hear one thing and then they run with it. Some guy at the store yesterday thought I was too big up top—whatever you hear is going to bring a lot more. I’m not big up top.”

Kings.com: So you have not changed at all from last year?
Bibby:“Yeah, I might be a little skinnier actually.”

Kings.com: How hard is it to struggle right now?
Bibby: “It’s frustrating because I’m not just missing, I’m missing badly. A lot of it is confidence though. I make a couple and I’m right out of it.”

Kings.com: Are you just going to have to shoot your way out of the slump?
Bibby: “If I’m open, I’m still going to shoot it, I’m not worried about…I mean, it’s two games. (Stuff) happens. I’m not worried about it at all. I came and shot last night and I’ll come and get some shots tonight and I’ll get some shots at practice tomorrow.”

Kings.com: How do you feel about the team after the first two games?
Bibby: “We played good last game, we just need to get our offensive spacing—when we have our spacing things work out a lot better. It can be worked on in practice, we just have to concentrate during the game too. It takes a lot of concentration during the game to remember when something comes your way to spread out.”

Kings.com: How frustrating were the losses?
Bibby: “The main thing is we lost, I’d rather win. If I do anything in those two games, anything at all, we win both those games. I didn’t do anything, and we lost both.”

Kings.com: Has any of your teammates spoken to you?
Bibby: “They talked about it a little, but usually you don’t talk about other peoples’ shooting because it could backfire.”

Kings.com: Moving to a lighter subject, were you able to watch yourself on the Wheel of Fortune?
Bibby: “It was funny, I knew what was going to happen, but…My older ones didn’t see it, but my youngest sitting there watching with us—but I guess she’s used to watching me during the games.”
