we suck
Somebody needs to explain to me all the OMG~! astonishment over Ron Artest's shooting "slump." Why are so many people surprised that a career 42% shooter isn't going to be able to make a 50+ shooting percentage hold up all season long? Am I really the only person who called that?
I never said he didn't; what I'm saying is, between comments from Gerrold/Reynolds/Napear and some of the comments from people here, it's like they seem shocked that he's not shooting as well as he did to start the season... and I'm sitting here thinking to myself that I can't be the only person who knew that there was no way in hell that a career forty-two percent shooter was going to shoot 50+ for the whole season.Artest has a lot on his mind right now with his daughter. I can understand his shooting slump.
This is a good time for all of you that thought we could (and should) challenge for a playoff bearth to reevaluate your expectations.
The bucks are a lousy, slow, half court team, and the Kings have their hands full at this point. I know they are playing without Bibby and Martin, but I believe this is more representative of the rest of the season than the win over the Spurs.
Nice!!!
Some people need to learn that just because you don't think that the team is going to win, it's not the same as you rooting for the team to lose.
Why? Are you worried about my emotional state? I can handle it. I always want me team to win.
Whatever. I can't root for my team to lose. It's just not in me.
Besides, whether or not I have hope or not, has no impact on the team.
Whatever. I can't root for my team to lose. It's just not in me.
I never root for the team to lose, it's just a matter of having realistic expectations.
You need to take that up with the person who was saying you should. All I said was that thinking that the team is going to lose =/= wanting the team to lose. I haven't gone into a single game actually thinking that the Kings were going to win since February 23, 2005, but I don't actually root for the Kings to lose.So why tell us we have to control our expectations like our expectations have anything to do with it?
