What do you all think, will he be back or is this it for him ?
Our front line = Sammy D., JT, Mandry, Cousins, and now Whiteside.

You should have seen the shape he was in at the draft party. Dood was yoke. If we don't keep him he'll find work somewhere.
I wonder what his reaction was to our picks (at the draft party).
Can you really be too tough? The good thing is Brockman won't cry about minutes, won't cost too much, and can contribute when needed. I think he can and will be the roster along with all those other guys. 12th man.
Absolutely agree. He is the IDEAL 12th man. Always good for the practice squad. A mature mentor type of player. A culture guy. There as a backup in case of injury. Can contribute in unique situations and rebound like a monster on short order. He still might be the best rebounder we have per minute.
I think he'll be back. Westphal said if there's two guys he wants back as his 11th/12th men it's him and Ime. We still have more than a few positions to fill so unless another team steps in, and they might, I think he'll be back.
Ime? Really? This has been a great night for the kings so I'm going to pretend I didn't read that.
What the hell are we going to do with Cousins, JT, Landry, Whiteside, Dalembert, AND Brockman? That doesn't make any sense. Half our active roster only able to play PF or C? That's just plain dumb.

For the last decade, at least half of our roster have been able to play 2 or 3. What's so crazy about almost half of them being able to play 4 or 5?
2's and 3's are much more flexible. 2's can generally be placed at 1,2, or 3 if need be. 3's can be placed at the 2, or if you're Cisco the 1 and 2. You're talking about a player (Dalembert) that can only play C, and Landry who can only play 4 if we expect to play any defense or rebound. Then you have JT, who can play both but is CLEARLY better at the 4, and then Cousins who is best suited for the 5. So what would we have? Beno at the 1, Evans at the 2, and Omri? Then our bench (for 1-3) would consist of Donte (clearly suited for the 3 and sometimes 4, not the 1 or 2), Cisco, and Udoka?
That's not even including whoever we sign with the cap room. So why keep Brockman when he isn't going to get playing time, when we could add someone who could actually make an impact on the floor as a backup 1,2, or 3?
I absolutely hated Ime most of last season
that being said, hes a decent 12th man for practice reasons/in case of injury..
how is he worse than Morrison or Powell on the Lakers or Scalabrine and Williams on the Celtics (both champ teams)
those are the 11th and 12th man type players
I think we still should resign Brockman because 1) he's cheap 2) character 3) he's a good guy to have around our core and practice 4) Whiteside probably isn't going to be ready to contribute next year and will spend a significant amount of time in the NBDL
