why was this moved?, he was a great king and deserves a proper sendoff.
Harder to find? It's the first thread in the forum.Good question. Can't really pay your respects as easily as it's harder to find over here.
Let's put it this way: Peja Stojakovic is pretty much the demarcation point for ex-Kings at this stage. When he retired, the thread was posted in the NBA forum. Why? Because, 1) by the time he retired, he was on his fourth post-Kings team, and 2) It had been over four seasons since he'd been a player of any significance. Brad Miller is certainly not more important to the history of the Sacramento Kings than Peja Stojakovic, therefore, the thread belongs in the NBA forum.why was this moved?, he was a great king and deserves a proper sendoff.

And, furthermore, that is the precise point of the redirect: so that people will know where the thread is.

I couldn't care less about what it "sounds like" to you. Threads about non-Kings belong in the NBA forum. Brad Miller is a non-King.ok. sounds more like a mod trying to flex his internet muscles to me though
I can't imagine a player will enjoy retirement more than Brad Miller.
The NBA just got a little less colorful and the woods of Indiana just got a little more dangerous! C-ya Brad
I liked Brad, partially because he came from rural Indiana, as did my dad. He was asked to do the impossible - to fill Vlade's shoes so to speak. He was emotional, he could drive you nuts with his bitter beer face, and yet you knew he was playing from the heart. I love the fact that he finished his career with Rick Adelman.
Hard to imagine he will retire anywhere, but Indiana.
I'm so glad he had some great years here with us in Sacramento. I'm also glad he got to go out playing for Adelman.
I wish you all the best in retirement, Brad.![]()
