Brad Miller, Mike Bibby, Cuttino Mobley, Darius Songaila, and Matt Barnes

I have to say that i am really proud of our team and the effort that they put forth yesterday...i mean Cat was feeling ill, wasn't shootin well in the first half, as well as bibby...but what did they do, they played through it like professionals and got the win for our team. As for the rest of the team, they were awesome as well. Had great D and held the twolves to 84 points...i love it.

I think as the season wears on and everyone gets healthy,as the play-offs get here, this TEAM will alot better than it is,as long as we keep the BENCH involved every game, weather by necessity or by CHOICE..We should use a 8-10 rotation every game..

This is one thing that I'm afraid of based on the last game. Although, our bench guys did great, and they do deserve some playing time, I do not want to turn into the Memphis Grizzlies. There can be very negative impacts from playing 10 players significant minutes. The reason Songaila and Barnes were so effective, was that they played almost the ENTIRE game. The Kings system works best when guys get lots of minutes and get into a flow and rhythm in the game. Once Pedja, Webber, and Bobby are back, the bench won't be able to play 30+ minutes in a game. Part of Minnesota's problem yesterday, was that they were subbing in players every few minutes and no one got into a rhythm. There are very few players who can be an impact in limited minutes (Bobby Jackson, and Troy Hudson are two). I loved Mobley's quote about Flip Saunders... I think it says a lot about this, and may explain why Adelman gives his starters so many minutes:

"I was just paying attention to us, but the way (Saunders) was throwing around guys, I don't see how they can get their rhythm."

Don't bring that crazy logic and intelligence in here! Just cuz almost every single player thats ever played for Adelman has said that! Listen to the Fans! They know a hell of a lot more about coaching winning teams in the NBA than professional Coaches that actually played in the league!

I'm not saying throw all 12 players in the mix like SAUNDERS did.. 8-10 man rotation would be more useful, given the talent on this TEAM,than a 7 man rotation IMO.

I think the main consideraton shouldn't be an 8-10 man rotation every game, but adjustments every game to fit what's going on. If it takes going deep into the bench, I think we've seen that Adelman is more inclined to do that than he has been in the past. If it means only going 7 or 8, I have no problem with it IF it's what works.

Bottom line for me is that RA and the Kings walked out of Target with a win. They all deserve credit but I think RA deserves the most. Maybe Jerry Reynolds said it best yesterday when he remarked that he could not think of ONE other coach in the NBA today who could have gone into Target with the players he had available and pulled out a win against the TWolves. That's pretty high praise and I think he was right.

Good, gritty win all the way around and just another reason I love this team!

:D
