Boogie named to All-NBA Second Team

I am just not so sure that is the case. I am not saying that there would be no difference but I am not really sure what the difference would be. They are 2 totally different players playing totally different roles. Jordan can't do what Demarcus can do but the same can be said the other way around.
I quite agree.
While the "lets swap" idea, as a mental exercise, WOULD probably make DJ look bad, it would mostly be due to very bad fit, rather than player quality or value:
Taking Cuz out of the Kings, as currently built, and replacing him with another practically-non-scoring big / low-ranked-option-on-offense big - even if he IS a super rim protector - would kill our offense, and would do very little for our defense, since our defensive ailments were never in the bigs' section anyway.

Still, being the best big in the league for the season should IMHO at least mean being a complete big (with a versatile skillset on both ends of the court), who has a big impact (the biggest impact?) on his team from the center position, and preferably is clutch (ends games for his team).
These traits are very much characteristic of DMC, and could barely be attributed to DAJ (as a player who can't shoot from anywhere farther than 5ft, who is normally (at best) only the 3rd best/3rd highest impact guy on his own team, and is frequently being hidden on the bench in clutch minutes...)

DAJ shot 42% from the charity strip last season. That weakness takes him out of games due to "hack-a-_____". How is he the best center? Maybe if the rules are changed so poor shooters like DAJ are given a pass on this weakness it will mean less. Much like the hand checking rules that allow little guards to get where they want to has made many players more effective.

How in the world does someone try and justify DeAndre Jordan over DeMarcus Cousins? I agree with the borderline troll statement from a few posts ago.
