BONZI!!!!!!!!!! gotta love his effort on the floor.... once garcia comes back the 8 man rotation is gonna be nice

garcia was really missed yesterday...... i cant wait to see this team at full strength..... i hope that we can get the 7th seed and face the suns.....

but go bonzi... the man can board or the rest of the kings just cant.... i cant tell most of the time, lol....

love Bonzi!!!

I really like him and SAR coming off the bench together. I hope RA stays with it and the players stay cool with it.

So I guess we don't get an "any questions" thread tonight, huh? :D

EDIT: Just saw the other thread... that'll work, too. I guess. Heh.

That won't be happening with Bonzi eventually, methinks for at least a couple reasons.

right before the game. i got an autograph from bonzi. while he was signing, i told him "welcome back bonzi!" he said thank you.

it's great that he had a good game. we needed it plus he needs to be in shape and have a good rhythm ASAP.

:D

just shows how much he brings to the team and how much we missed when he was out. glad he's back!;)

love the guys effort out there, just wonderful. not to long ago while injured seemed many saw him as expendable, looks pretty damn valuable to me.

True on all counts... He still looks a bit pudgy though... :D

Anyone still want Earl Watson????? :)

It just shows that we all (myself included) can forget about what we have on our own team when the guy is hurt.

Count me as someone who wished Geoff had pulled the trigger on the Watson/Bonzi deal at the time, and am currently oh so happy that he didn't. I forgot Bonzi could be this effective...

I highly disagree, no way should Bonzi come off the bench. He is our starter originally and he still deserves that spot (very soon). He and Ron will be such a one two punch like no one ever saw.

Well then, I sure hope you feel the same way about Reef.

Actually I do, but since Reef has made no stink about his spot - I haven't either. I believe he ready to start now, but that hasn't been the case. I like Kenny Thomas too, but he seems to need to be coddled when it comes to that scenario.

When Reef shows multiple performances that warrant a start, sure. Until then......................

Hard to do much on 15 minutes a game.

I've said from the get-go that I think Bonzi deserves to start, despite Kevin's amazing performance. I just don't think starters should lose their jobs because they got injured.

If we went on a 42-2 rip through the league, then maybe it warranted it. But, what happened is players on the bench AND starting unit starting playing well AND we inherited a top 10 player for a guy that was severely underperforming.

I don't think Bonzi or Reef deserved to lose their role with the team.

I think the team, as structured, might be better with them both off the bench with significant minutes, but I think we should see what we've got.

This season is near in the tank. It's probably more important to see how our key pieces fit together than try to push the playoffs only to get enjected in the first round in four games.

When we are healthy which isn't far away and with how we are starting to mesh and win on the road....we are a scary 6-8th seed that cannot be ignored.

Bonzi does deserve to start in a few more weeks when we can be sure he has his fitness back and there isn't a good chance he will re injure his groin again. At least start him soon on the road. KMart has been doing great, but Bonzi has been out so long this year and this is his contract year so let him show what he is made of. He should be playing his heart out if not to just earn his starting spot back, but to showcase his skills to the other teams when he is a free agent this summer. I sure hope we resign Bonzi, I cannot wait to see him and Artest have at least a season together and stay healthy. We are only seeing glimpses of what these 2 guys can do, they both have been out of basketball for awhile, especially Artest...this guys is amazing. I know Brad and Bibby are our core, but Artest is are franchise player. With a good, young, athletic PF/C, we are going to be a serious contender.

Yeah Bonzi!!!

For all you who thought Kevin Martin was God's give to the 2 position, think again. Down the road he's the future of the Kings perhaps, but Bonzi is da man now.
