joker they didn't throw the game tonight, they plain choked it away... AGAIN!

It's the same crapola. You don't lose when you have a 6 point lead with 1-2 minutes to go especially to a inexperienced team who has nothing to lose. losing to the Lakers was quite simpley understandable but losing to the Blazers is not.

It's the same crapola.

Yep, sure is. The ONLY time you show up is when you can dump on the team in some manner or another.

They did NOT throw this game. They blew it, yes, but for you to even hint that they threw it is deplorable.

FYI - They just interviewed Bibby in the locker room. Some guy started to ask him about his stats and Mike, looking pretty irritated, said, "I don't care about my stats." He then went on to say something about coming to gether as a team and having to learn to get stops.

This IMHO is a team that just doesn't know how to win any longer. And, even though I'm sure some will disagree, I still blame Musselman. Once again, he pulled players at weird times, used some kind of Martian formula to determine playing time and, in doing so, I think he's totally destroyed the rhythm of the team.

The only time i show up is when i really want to vent on this team.

Musselman has no preach for defense.

We have no front-court

Corliss Williamson is our best freaking big-man

there is to many negatives about this team right now. the only positive thing about this season is the emergence of Kevin Martin and it still doesn't take away how bad this team is.

Martin missing those free throws hurt alot, but the game should not have been close, I mean, cmon, it's the blazers. Ah well. With each loss I get less and less upset. Just hope management can figure out what it wants to do with this team.

Just plain losing is one thing. But blowing a game we could've/ maybe should've won just hurts so much more. It sucks everytime WE beat ourselves. Well, that's the only team we can beat nowadays. :(

GO KINGS!

My blood is boiling over this one. Blow this (expletive) team up. Now. This is getting embarassing and stupid.

And I am starting to think we made a mistake with hiring Musselman. The man for this team was Carlesimo, in my opinion, and we missed the boat. This team doesn't seem to believe in or listen to the coach. And his experience (or lack thereof) is the root reason.

Your right, it might be something that worked on past teams of his, but the Kings(most of them)were used to the way Rick played them, and i think it really throws them off, i mean somebody just gets warmed up and ready to play and he takes the guy out, not sure what for, but it aint workin.

I hope so, i want this Franchise to start from scratch. we need to rebuild right now even though it might take a few painful years.

Its funny that he says that when he is one of the biggest problems on D and I can't put the blame on Muss he was not the one at the free throw line who could have finished the game off.

IF I can gvie any sort of blame to Musselman it will be this. There is not ONE single lineup that when I see them on the floor I think to myself "This is our best lineup" or "Times are getting tough we need this lineup" Not one... And the fact that he never has a consistent lineup, never gives guys consistent PT, and never seems to have a damn clue when it comes to bringning in guys that play well with eachother. Like one time (not this game) I saw Hart, Salmons, Artest, Thomas, and Reef on the floor... WHAT KIND OF A LINEUP IS THAT. What could they POSSIBLY do on either side of the floor? His wacked out lineups really get on my nerves. And it wouldn't surprise me if it got on their nerves as well.

I'm there with you, I think.

This (ongoing relatively poor play) is going to force changes, maybe a bit sooner than some might have planned (in MSE). It is going to get to the point where the embarassment will accelerate whatever they are looking to do.

Yeah you could say all that OR Shaq Martin could hit is ****ing free throws and we would have won these last 2 games in regulation

Is this team scared to blame the lack of defensive stops on Musselman? we need to make sure the Management realizes whos killing this team right now. but im guessing they have no motivation to do so because they expected Musselman to be a defensive coach and they think its there fault.

Oh, and can we get a big man? Please? This is killing me. There is a reason size is coveted in the NBA. I think tonight demonstrated it....

Rebounds, blocks, and finishing at the rim are GOOD things.

Totally agree, must of the blame can't be put on Muss tonight its not his fault that one of our best free throw shooters can't make a damm free throw.

How can Corliss Williamson be our best big-man? does anyone even realize how embarrsing this is? does this management even know how bad a front-court has to be if someone like Corliss Williamson is your best front-court player???

Had you seen the game you wouldn't be dumping on Corliss, who was one of the bright spots out there again...

Actually i'm proud of his hustle plays BUT... my point is you can't expect your best front-court player to be Corliss Williamson and expect to have sucess its not going to happen.

and yet if K-mart makes clutch free throws all the hostility in here over the last 2 losses is non existant.

Well, Corliss having had to jump ball with Bynum to start the OT the other night - THAT is one of the Kings' most embarassing moments.

And maybe, just maybe, if the league hadn't switched back to the leather ball in the middle of the year, Martin's shot wouldn't have suddenly become errant...

Thank you for putting into words the very point I've been attempting to make.

Actually if we would've still win this game it will still be a bad spot. the game shouldn't even have come down to critical FT's.

Well he was 100% until 33.5 seconds were on the clock then it SUDDENLY became errant. It was 2 consecutive choke jobs face it and take it for what it is. Yeah we probably wouldn't have but 4 wins if not for Kevin thus far this season but, the fact is his FT shooting in clutch situations cost us these last 2 games. Sure you can say it should have never come to that. But almost 80% of every NBA game does and true stars make their FT's that is what makes them stars of the game. I thought Kevin was there but, it appears he still has some jitters in certain pressure situations.

You might want to save some of your outlandish criticisms for Bibby, who also missed a late free throw last game.

Face what? I'm not gonna argue with people have to single out one player to put the blame for this on. I watched the game; I did a PBP on the game. I saw LOTS of errors made at every juncture and NOT just by Kevin.

80% of every NBA game comes down to FT shooting? Care to site a source?
