On November 25th 2000 Kings beat Sonics 125 - 101 to improve to 9-3 at that point of season. It was the kings offense from the finest kind and Sonics had no answers. 34 assists, 52% from the field. Pedja lead Kings with 29/5/4/2, Webber had 24/14/3/3, DC had 14/1/7/4, Vlade had 12/8/4 and JWill had 11/2/10/3. Bench was outstanding. scoring 35 points, lead by Hedo who had 17/12
Turkoglu, a first-round pick who had managed no more than six points in any of his previous eight games, looked like an All-Star against a Seattle team disinterested in competing or protecting its pride. The 6-8 forward from Turkey needed just 17 minutes to collect 17 points and 12 rebounds -- both season highs -- hitting 5-of-7 shots and 7-of-8 free throws.
"It was lots of fun," Turkoglu said. "I was happy that we won and I played good. I always try to do my best. I showed everybody that and I get more time. I try to play every time like this. My teammates helped me out a lot and they make me more comfortable."
"I don't know what (Baker) did, Mr. Tough Guy," Webber said. "I don't know how it started. It wasn't that physical. He's kind of soft. So it isn't that physical when you play against him. He just wanted to be tough for a minute and I've been nice for 2 1/2 years and on good behavior. He wanted to get tough, so I had to remind him what time it is."

Kings snapped the 3 games losing streak with a very nice and unexpected road victory while playing shorthanded to improve to 6-5 for a season. It will be a nice flight home to face Blazers on the back to back night with a prospect of starting another winning streak. Looks like we managed to flip the momentum our way and now let's see how long we will ride it. And Lakers lost too so it was a great night.

Easiest games to play are the games that You "lost" before they even start. And since You don't have any cances to win them - take an advantage of it. It sucks when You are on the other end of it but it can be a great moral booster if You win a game like this. "Other" guys step up and maybe just maybe - it doesn't stay by this one game but it turns out into something more consistant.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
It is clear that we are better team without Ron Artest
. Seriously, we have dealt with injuries so often that it can not be a surprise that we managed to pull it out somehow. There was always a player like, Hedo, Bobby, JJ etc who gave us a life line. Tonight - it was Corliss who has been fairly consistant lately and he might be our best center since Brad went down. I am glad to see him play because frankly he sucks waving the towel.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
While Mike Bibby did not have a good game - it was obvious that when the brain is back even if not functioning too well - the whole body (the team) is capable to function at a certain level which in this case - was high enough for us to get a win. While it looks like Mike will be banged up the whole season - we will have to try to get away with some glue, duct tape, robitussin and the nail clippes of course
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Did anyone miss DFF tonight ? No fingers broken, no chairs destroyed, no broken wrists, fights, ejections, no flagrant fouls or attempted murders. Generally, no nausea just by seeing that creature walking around looking for the next victim or two - depending on what the refs would allow. It will remain a mistery - how DFF got to be a professional BB player coonsidering that his talents are more suited for a butcher or a bill collector or even a politician. We dodged a bullet here tonight.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sonics had us right where they wanted us but they were actually dumb enough to let us steal this one. On the other hand - we played well and earned the W fair and square. Stats were similar. We shpt the ball somewhat better in the 2nd half and that was enough. Kevin was unstopable and Allen was "antiKevin" Even our front line didn't suck. Let's just hope that we won't pay the price for the 7 man rotation tomorrow night.

AWARD TIME
C Wilcox won the TDM award in the first quarter even though he cooled off significantly
R Allen sucked his way to LW-VC award in great style. He was unstopable and every time when You thought - he can't miss another one - can he ? - He proved You wrong
.
DC-DT award goes to Mike Bibby for playing injured in who knows how many ways.
JHA award goes to Mo Taylor just because we won another game in which he didn't get to play
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Portland is next and we might be tired and we don't know what Ron's status is so who knows. Our win tonight would be much more important of we can beat Blazers too. Their front live concernes me but they are young and dumb and they will find a way to lose if we give them a chance. It is time for a winning streak
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mike - hard to ask for more even though it is needed
Ron - get well soon
Brad - no layup practicing please
Kevin - hard to keep it low key
SAR - more and more often
------------------------------------------------------------------------
KT - plays well when the game is too late and too far away from eyes of other GMs. Any chances of stopping Randolph ?
Salmons - nice to see him back
Corliss - respect
Price - couldn't do it again
Cisco - anti brain.
rest - mateen
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Muss - much better.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well - Joel seams to be hurt but Rabdolph isn't and that might be trouble. LaFrentz is there and so is Magloire. That is a tall front line. Bunch of young guys too. TDM award will go to let's say Webster. LW-VC award should go to a Blazer player which would guarantee a win. All in all - it will be a start of a winning streak
