better rebounding/defense

i must say i was pretty impressed with the play of the new additions. skinner with some great blocks, thomas with his great rebounding and slashing, and williamson just being williamson. our inside defense did look a little better without a slow webber in the paint. players were rotating better and collapsing on Iverson. peja will make us better and if we get bobby back i think we can win with this team.

as far as defense and rebounding, did we look better?

Webber isn't the worst defender in the league, but Webber AND Miller were one of the slowest combos in the league. D will improve from that aspect alone.

Having Corliss at small forward defending and rebounding(rather than standing on the three point line) also helped a lot.

Corliss has grown a lot under Larry Browns system. He may be the perfect fit in our system. It was very nice to finally see some hard fouls, not letting players have open dunks.

i got butterflies as seeing almost every shot in the paint contested.
