Yes he comes from a winning culture, but he is not a very good defender.

"too much money" has been a theme this free agency LOL! .... Compared to last years deals maybe its high-ish.... but this year is insane and this is a good value deal with the "new market"

If we get Rondo, I would put Belinelli with his unit. That way you could have rotations of Rondo-Belinelli and Collison-McLemore. You need the best shooter of the group paired with Rondo.

$6.3 is fine for a strong fit, which he is. We're still going to need a real defender out there now, but that was why the Mathews gamble was going to be such an expensive one.

I'd pass on Rondo for 10+. Just get a CJ watson/Jeremy Lin at half the price and keep Collison as starter. You can use the remaining 5-6 mil for another bench guy... Cory Brewer.. etc.
