Kobe really beat himself down the stretch. Taking every shot, no matter how bad, gave away the game in OT. But you also gotta credit those bad shots to good Kings D. Job well done.

Disappointing? I disagree. Kevin got into early foul trouble including one blatant foul on Kobe that was charged, of course, to the guy not wearing #8. I'm very proud of Kevin. Kobe got his points but Kevin stuck with him, and this is only Kev's first real year of play. I think he and Cisco both deserve a lot of credit for playing with heart, with passion, and without simply bowing down to the Kobe like the announcers from TNT.

Well, it just was never a very realistic thread. Kobe's operating on an entirely different planet and really isn't being challenged much by anyone except the fellow HOF types like LeBron.

Not good? Sure. Obviously you get outscored 51-7 that's not very good. But disappointing only if too much of the hype seaped in.
