Another good Sacto Bee article. After all this time, it's nice to see the Bee step up. Of course, they've always had it in for the "billionaire playboys" so this might be what they've been waiting for all along. I don't get that take, though. I think the Bee finally understands that it's about more than just a basketball team. It's about the future of Sacramento and the North state.

How the Mallofs can make peace with the fans.

The reason the fans are upset with the Mallofs is that they don't trust that the Maloofs intend to stay in Sacramento. If the Maloofs really plan to stay, have them sign a contract with the city stating they will remain in Sacramento X number of years and pay a stiff penalty if they break the contract.

It's gonna take a lot more than signing a contract, which can be broken or contested or ignored. I don't think the Maloofs realize just how badly they angered the Mayor of Sacramento, the executive director of #ThinkBigSacramento and the vast majority of Kings fans.

To paraphrase Howard in last week's episode of The Big Bang Theory, the Maloofs are going to have to do things that would make the 12 labors of Hercules look like a walk in the park. (Totally o/t, if you didn't see the episode - The Hawking Excitation - WATCH IT!!!)
