im not trying to make people agree with me. im just posting like everyone else. but let me say this also. kobe doesnt taunt for no reason. not many professionals do that. he or any other athelete will show the same respect they're given when inside someone elses arena. if you're booing and making fun of him then of course he's gona go off, flick his jersey and carry on like the bigshot he is.

some laker fans make fun of the kings. they taunt. and kobe might have taunted last night. but dont get that confused with what a rivalry really is. i used to taunt dallas fans after we knocked the crap out of them. becuase they stunk and were not worthy of being on the same floor as webber and bibby. i wasted my time trash talking because it was fun. what else are you supposed to do on a message board? play spaids and discuss how to make paper footballs. the laker fans dont care. what is there to care about. we've never taken anything from them. they make fun of us because its fun, its the internet

And they make fun of "us" in person as well.

Its a ridiculous argument. You can NOT care unless there is a rivalry. I would virtually guarantee you there is almost zero taunting activity when they play Memphis, or Atlanta. Why? No rivalrly. Does not matter. We matter to them. That is all it takes.
