Bash Everone/Everything thread (so we don't have so many negative threads)

I'm tired of seeing 20 new threads every day ranging from trading Tyreke to firing Westfail to moving to another state. So, I present to everyone the Bash Everyone/Everything Thread. I probably won't be coming on this thread very often, but I'm sick and tired of all the negativity in every single thread. So come on over here, and have a Bashing Party :)

Topics to be discussed:
1. Trade Tyreke
2. Fire Westfail
3. Get Veteran players
4. Fire Westfail
5. Get some shooters
6. Fire Westfail
7. Fire Petrie
8. And so on and so on :p
 
Nah, I think everything is awesome. Why would anyone want to say anything negative about this team/coach?
 
by this same token, should we have one singular positive thread? Should we group everything positive under that thread?

This leaves us with two threads, at which there are 10 topics going on at one time?

Your logic defies why forum software was created in the first place. If I want to talk about how bad Tyreke's ball security is, I don't want to hear about how Carl Landry is horrible this season.

Good point... I meant this thread to be more for the Knee-Jerk Reaction type of responses. In every thread, there is inevitably someone who just says something without actually thinking :p This is for them.
 
Can I bash Kings fans in this thread for being so damn pathetic and showing no support for their team? Damn, the team is going through a rough time and instead of supporting them here we are making threads to just bash every single element of our team. Just what our team needs. I wish I was on the team so I could have you guys hate and bash me too. Thats a great way to pick me up when everything is going wrong. I'm sure the team LOVES hearing from their friends and family how their 'fans' are saying such wonderful stuff about them and supporting them through thick and thin. You guys are great fans. Glad to be a part of the group.

Regarding the bashing, this is what happens when your favorite team is playing terribly. There's really nothing positive about our team right now and the fans are frustrated. 5 wins only thus far? Terrible. As such, I read all the comments on this board, good and bad, and the bad comments don't bother me. Some comments are dumb like trading certain players but I understand the frustration and anger. Last night's loss to the Ws was just too much to take. We're starving for a win over here. :(
 
I'm tired of threads bashing bashing threads!

...I don't think that one was previously included.
 
If there weren't negative threads on this board, exactly how many threads would there be? What is there to be positive about? Forums are intended to give people a voice. To me this thread implies that all complaints and criticisms are of equal validity (basically garbage), so they should just be piled into one thread.

Fans are consumers, not a support system. We are not their friends, nor their family. Your mindset is all screwy. We pay for a product. When that product isn't meeting expectations, criticism is supposed to come.

Actaully, let's try your way, just for kicks.

I might add that even friends and family sometimes need to kick their friends'/family members' butts in order to wake them up and get on the right track. I don't get that mindset that criticism=hating or wanting the team to fail. Anyone who is still here obviously wants the team to succeed, but pretending everything is fine and dandy won't help anyone. If anything, it will just weaken the motivation of the people in charge to take action to fix the situation.

Completely agree. I find it abhorring that the general culture of the US is to baby everyone and make sure we don't hurt feelings. The US school system, in general, is definitely a guilty party. I want my kids criticized, damn it. I believe they dub it the p***ification of America.

The best, brightest, hardest working WANT to hear the criticism from all comers so they will know the flaws. I don't want to hear about my successes in my review, I want to know how to get better.
 
first we get blown out by the clippers on national tv. then we lose a lead , get caught with a buzzer beating 3, and get blown out by the warriors in ot. i dont know how i feel about the kings anymore

I actually think it's important to hear both the criticism and the praise. If your'e doing something right you should get positive feedback for it so you know to keep doing it. Unfortunately, there is not much to praise with this year's Kings. I will say this, though - while I think the roster on this team is very young and inexperienced, I also think the talent level is pretty good and is being underutilized. That's why I think a coaching change has the potential to turn things around for this team. We have a talented and well-balanced roster, with almost no glaring holes in terms of positions (excpet PG perhaps). Down the line, we will definitely need to add vets to get us to the next level, but even with the current roster we should be able to look A LOT better than we have so far.

'Bashing' and constructive criticism are 2 completely different things. I don't mind constructive criticism and I think we should offer our critiques but the bashing is uncalled for. The team is young and they were dumb in the final moments of the last game, however if you have watched enough basketball then you know to expect things like that. I'm not surprised at all how this season is going, but I still believe they will go on a nice run after the new year and all these people on here that are 'bashing' the team will feel like complete morons for doing so.

Fan is short for fanatic. A fanatic expresses "vigorous, aggressive support for or opposition to a plan or ideal." A true fan, therefore, is justified for being passionately positive or passionately negative about the team he/she loves.
