Well hopefully my Oakland A's can win the world series , we missed the playoff by few games last year . We had a lot of injuries last year , but we added a lot of veterans to this amazing young team .

Who's your team and how they will fare this year ?

Did you know you have a Zanesville boy playing for the A's, too? :D

I'm hearing good things about my Cubbies' bullpen this year (which was kinda weak at the end of last season), and I'm excited to see Matt Murton and Ronny Cedeno start. They looked good during the few games they played in last year. I'm sad to see Nomar go, but Ronny is young, and I think a fresh infusion of young blood is just what we need.

Also anxious to see how D.Lee does this year after coming off a stellar season!

Just got my Cubs tickets renewed. D-Lee will have Juan Pierre batting in front of him this year, so he should do even better then last year (statistically). However, as every other year, I keep wandering what will go wrong next...

I have to shamefully admit that in all my years of being a Cub fan, I have yet to make it to Wrigley Field. So I'm jealous!

I read that Dusty is considering having Murton bat #2. Hopefully our pitchers can stay healthy this year, but I know that might be asking for a lot.

Don't feel badly. I have been a Cub fan for about 35 years, and I've never been to Wrigley either. I must admit that the Giants became my #1 team in the early 80's, but the Cubbies will always be a close 2nd.

One day (hopefully this summer) I'll make it there. I've been to Chicago plenty of times, just not to Wrigley.

6th, I thought you had been there. I don't know what made me think that, though other than I know you lived in IL until recently. My mind must be playing tricks on me again. LOL :p

The Giants!

IF all goes well health-wise, I see us having a great year.

Predictions!

1: Lance Neikro breaks out hitting in front of Bonds.
2: Matt Cain continues his excellent pitching and is a contender for rookie of the year.
3: Ray Durham pulls a hammy within a month of the start of the season and we get to see Kevin Fransen.
4: Feliz has a monster year, as it's a contact year.

Giants.

After getting all amped up before the start of last year I was very down about how the season went. We ended pretty solid though and have added even more this year. It's hard not to be excited but the AGE of the outfield cannot be ignored.

I may have commented about attending a Cubs/Cardinals game (what a rivalry!). I saw the game in St Louis, however, as it is much closer than Chicago. I have a brother and a sister who have been to Wrigley many many times. They are huge fans.

cubs and cards might have their little thing, but nothing beats giants and dodgers.

i'd had the pleasure of seeing games at both staduims between the teams, it gets CRAZY!!!!!!!!! i swear, i saw about 4 fights break out at one of them. it's insane.

i look foward to another season of cheering and jeering with you sanity, your pads are going down! :D

GO GIANTS!!!!!!!
and red sox in the east. my man is on that team now, JT at first for the bosox, that makes me a bigger red sox fan!

I only went to couple of games last year and this year I'll try to go to at least one. I got the next best seat though on WGN and Comcast Sportsnet and all home games in HD :)

Go Cubs!!!

This is the year!!

Padres fan here, as most of you know. Booo Giants ;)

Not sure what to expect for next year. The Pads made a ton of moves, but I'm not sure if they were the right ones. They seem to be taking old has been stars (ie: Mike Piazza, Vinny Castilla, Doug Mirabelli), but they've also acquired some young talent (ie: Mike Cameron, Chris Young, Termel Sledge), and they resigned Brian Giles and Trevor Hoffman. They still have Peavy who is one of the top pitchers in the league at an extremely young age, and Khalil Greene is amazing. Overall, I liked the moves they made this offseason, and here's to defending the NL West Title.
