Do you think it's possible that we finish the season with ROY, MIP and COY? Or at least 2 of the 3? I think it'll be pretty hard for Westphal to get coach of the year but I strongly feel that JT can make a good case for MIP. Unless of course, Anthony Randolph or something steals it, just like Monta stole Kmart's...

At this point of the season it's a lock;
ROY-Tyreke Evans
COY-Paul Westphal
MIP-Jason Thompson

...but you forgot
6th man-Omri Casspi
GM of the year-Geoff Petrie

and here's the kicker...

Not only ROY but MVP for Tyreke.

;)

We could also get two rookies on the All-rookie First team..

Tyrekes pretty much a lock, but if Casspi keeps playing well I can see him sliding in there aswell.

All these things are possible.

Just remember, there are more than 70 games to go.

It's ok to dream, but it's a little early for this discussion, except for Tyreke.

There's an old saying about not putting the cart before the horse. In this case, I think some people are not only putting the cart before the horse; they're getting on board to get good seats before we've even left the barn or decided which cart we're going to be riding.

My advice, for whatever you think it's worth:

Enjoy each step along this journey. Don't rush to get to the end without savoring the stops along the way. Watch the kids mature, have their good games AND their bad. Support them when they fail as well as when they win.

It isn't just the end, fellow Kings fans. It truly is the journey that makes it all so special.

Tyreke v. Jennings for ROY. Who has the most wins will likely decide that.

Tyreke - 1st team 70% lock, 2nd team if he misses the next 70 games 100% lock

Omri - Good chance to get 2nd team. I can't imagine a 1st team honor because he has to beat Gibson, Blair, Griffin, T. Will, Tyler Hans., Derozan....

Beno - Very good chance at 6th man of the year, if he stops starting.

Thompson - Most improved, yes, he has to be the front runner.

I think JT has a legitimate chance at MIP.

If Reke keeps up his play it will be tough to deny him ROY.

6th man usually goes to the first guy off the bench on a winning team.

Most Improved Player--

Trevor Ariza is on track for that award. Thompson will gather some votes but his improvement is on par with Marc Gasol right now and maybe Roy Hibbert if they keep up their pace. Ariza has suddenly turned into a West Coast Andre Iguodala. His teammate Brooks will probably steal some votes as well.

6th man--

Since the Hawks will probably be a wining team, Jamal Crawford could get this award. He is scoring 17 points off the bench and has been given permission to shoot as much as he wants and so far he is shooting a career high at 47%.

Rookie of the Year--

Evans can win this as long as he continues his strong play. Jennings has been playing very well putting similar contributions, so it will probably go down to team wins or hopefully improvement of team record. No way Evans misses the rookie first team.

You are forgetting Trevor Ariza.. I believe he has upped his PPG and play by a HUGE margin this year.. If I had to give away a MIP it would probably go to Ariza as of right now.. But that could change if Thompson continues his great play. ROY it's a tossup between Evans, and Jennings right now imo.

Hmmm. Considering that Brandon Jennings just scored 55 points in a win over the Warriors, the Tyreke's ROY may be in doubt.

Scoring 55 on Warriors of all teams, is not very impressing to me. Sure, he's showing some great skills lately, but I wouldn't go crazy over this scoring exhibition.

He was 7 for 8 in three pointers..I dont see that happening very often starting tomorrow

Jennings is the real deal.

This rookie class might turn out to be a good one in a supposed "weak draft".
