Attendance and the Arena situation

Reading the bee today, I couldn't have said it better than Mr. Marcotte -

"Kings fans are hostages at this point," said John Marcotte, 41, a Web designer in south Sacramento. "There's a horrible product on the floor due to years of mismanagement, neglect and lack of money. But if we don't go, the Maloofs are going to use that as an excuse that, 'Hey, they don't support the team.'

It's kind of a bad situation, we are sitting last in attendance http://espn.go.com/nba/attendance due a substandard product for the 7th straight year, however, are we going to be the ones to pay for this in a future Maloof relocation bid? I can't recall the last time fans were forced by the gun, so to speak, to attend games in such a manner. I just think it is a rather unfair situation as a Kings fan. I respect the fans on here who say we should support the team no matter what, but usually the natural reaction to a team performing lousy is for the organization to pay with less fannies in the seats.. Nevertheless I do commend all who continue to show up at Sleep Train for the games

And I will show up for as many games as usual. They are still my team. I'm not going for the Maloofs. Screw them.

If I already paid to watch Ben Gillery and Diane Causwell play basketball, I will gladly pay to see Demarcus Cousins. The caliber of play isn't that bad.
