Atlanta,Portland, and Washington trade??

From RealGM.com:

Rumored Trade Between Atlanta, Portland, And Washington
8th January, 2007 - 4:38 pmAtlanta Journal Constitution -
Sekou Smith of the Atlanta Journal Constitution is reporting that the Atlanta Hawks , Portland Trailblazers, and Washington Wizards are discussing a multi-player trade.

The rumored deal would have the Blazers sending Jamaal Magloire to the Wizards who would send Brendan Haywood and Jarvis Hayes to the Hawks while they send Lorenzon Wright, Salim Stoudemire, and Esteban Batista to the Blazers.

And why do people keep bringing trade rumors from other boards, especially realGM and ESPN???

Hey look! Some teams are "discussing a trade."

Someone wake me up when there's something a little more definitive.

The real fun hasn't even started yet. Trade season is just around the corner. Pretty sure we are going to be hearing Mike Bibby's, Ron Artest's, Brad Miller's, and Kenny Thomas's names a lot here in the next month.

Good point, STK. Those, at least, would be trade rumors involving the Kings. These ones that don't even concern us wouldn't even be that interesting if they actually happened, let alone if they're just being rumored by one newspaper with some space to fill...

;)

Well when poor judgment and a desire to be "ion on it" are combined in the same skull bad things happen!

Why in the world wouold the Blazers do that? The other two, sure. But the Blazers?

I was kind of wondering why Washington would do it??? Other than Haywood and Thomas not getting along I would think they can get better than Jamaal Magloire for both Haywood and Hayes??? Haywood has another 3 years on his deal but he is relatively cheap.

Magloire seems to be playing about as bad as Brad Miller and seems awfully slow and is not a shotblocker.
