I agree although I can't really think of any tv. series( besides the lil disney shows) that were made into movies, but I also think it's a bad idea to turn a movie into a tv series also

MASH was a movie first, that seemed to work out. Star Trek did well with their movie franchise. I liked the X-Files movie, but it was really just a long episode. If they make another one I will be happy. Stargate SG-1 seems to have garnered a good fan base, and is more popular than the original film. I think there is a sort of zero-sum thing going on, where if a TV show is very popular a movie will flop, and vice versa. (Dukes of Hazard, X-Files, MASH, Stargate all fit the mold) Star Trek was always popular, but I don't think reached the level of smash hit or flop in any incarnation (other than the new spinoffs which won't become movies), so it still fits the mold. I'm also happy that Firefly is being adapted into a movie. A very good TV show that never made it but got a cult following. I just don't think there is a single answer to that question.

Okay, I'm bored...so I'm just going to answer my own question. :p With the Dukes of Hazzard and Bewitched all coming out this sumer it just makes me feel like hollywood is just trying to capitalize on the successes of these shows without bringing any new ideas to the table. If I'm paying $10 to go to the movies I want to see new ideas, new stories not the same old remakes, that just are never as good as the tv shows.

Team Angelina or Team Aniston? ;)

My favorite celebrity couple is Joanne Woodward and Paul Newman

(I want to chime in on MY favorite Angelina Jolie movie(s) - I absolutely adore BOTH Tomb Raider films because she did such a fantastic job of turning a video game character into a real/reel life figure. Those films are FUN.)

What's your all-time favorite video game?

I missed an Angie question, so I must go back -- my favorite film of hers is probably The Bone Collector (its not her best film, by a long shot, but I've got a fondness for it). Of the several films of hers that I've got on heavy rotation, its probably the one that gets picked most often.

Toss up between The Simpsons (old four-player arcade game that has taken many of my quarters since the early 90's) and Earthworm Jim 2 for the Sega Genesis. I'm also ridculously hooked on the Ratchet & Clank series for the PlayStation2.

Same question.

or are my parents turning into me??? now retired, they like to have bloody mary's in the morning, margaritas in the afternoon, and martinis after dinner.

The only thing i can see similair about them is that im like my dad in that i dont like to argue and get in the middle of things and we both like concerts.

I have found that I have become a little more emotional and outgoing, which would be more like my mother, who is extremely emotional and outgoing.

What music/musical groups were played in your childhood home, via your parents?

Well, since my philosophy is that there are only two types of music - good and bad - I'd have to say that my favorite is good music. (Or, in less smart-*** terms, I like some of everything, but all of nothing. No one genre sticks out as a favorite.)

Same question.

I listen and like many-many types of music ....

I guess my favorite (hidden secret) .... would be classical guitar.

It's so soft, melodic, hypnotic .... intense, yet soothing ... to me - very genuine.

my favorite would be the rapcore genre, and if you dont know that that is its like rock and rap bands like linkin park and limp bizkit, beastie boys, pillar.

Ooh...this is a toughie. I like ALL kinds of music, but the mainstay of my musical diet would have to be some good old R & B. Brian McKnight, Joe, Al Green, Donell Jones...etc, etc..they never get old to me.

Do you think that if you caught your spouse looking at naked people on the internet it would be considered cheating?

No ...

What do you think about the Fed Gov thinking about NOT MAKING ONE TAKE OFF THEIR SHOES at the SECURITY CHECK POSTS at ALL AIRPORTS ???

note: Their reason for eliminating this process is to STOP frivelous searching and move things along quicker.

When I checked in at this little airport in Wisconsin several months ago, we all stepped upon this device that x-rayed our shoes. No removal what so ever. It made things so much easier, faster and for those wearing sandals, much cleaner since you don't have to step barefoot onto the filthy public floor then. So to answer the question, yes, that device is the way to go!

How would you best describe your sense of humor?

Kind of a mixed bag -- for the most part, I have a very dry/sarcastic/sardonic/smart-*** sense of humor. I'm usually not impressed by a joke or witicism unless half the audience doesn't get it. But, I'm also a sucker for the stupidest and most obvious puns in the world (not so much when someone else comes up with said pun, mind you, but I can crack myself up with them way too easily).

Same question.

"dry/sarcastic/sardonic/smart-*** sense of humor" tends to describe me, too - and add in just a little warp factor. ;)

Humor is overrated, depression is the new black.

Are Nathan's hotdogs the hands down best hot dog in the world???

Pardon the interruption:

Lumping in the Beastie Boys with Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park makes me sad.

Now back to your regularly scheduled question:

Laws and hotdogs - It's probably best if no one sees how they are made. I couldn't eat hotdogs for years as a kid after viewing the process. But yeah, these days I love the occasional hotdog, especially at a BBQ or a ball game. I've had Nathan's, and they are definitely good.
