Recently, I noticed the article and recognized Hollie Grima's name.
Some of you might recall last year, during the 2005 Monarchs Pre-Season Summer Training Camp, that the M's had signed two Australian players to contracts to try out for the final roster. Hollie was one of them, the other was Carly Wilson.
Eventually, neither of them made the final cut, but I do remember Coach Whiz saying that he liked what he saw with Hollie, but later said that while he was reluctant to cut her, he also felt that she needed a bit more experience.
But I'm curious if the M's are going to ask Hollie for another tryout this season. Now that Olympia Scott is gone (signed with the Indiana Fever), it wouldn't hurt for the M's to look at another post player.
