Artest's value higher after Lewis Signing?

It was announced earlier that Rashard Lewis will sign a max deal with the Orlando Magic, with the biggest name SF off the market does this raise Artest's value? Will that continue as guys like Gerald Wallace and Darko Milicic get signed?

Sure hope so. Im not sure if it will increase his value since he isnt a free agent but i think it will cause more teams to think about trading for him. Teams will be offering around the same talent level for him but there will be more teams interested in him.

I think this move puts Artest's name in a lot of GM's heads. Lewis is no longer even a possibility; they now need to look elsewhere and Ron Artest is elsewhere. It is like their plan A didn't work out, now on to Plan B.

well does not LOWER Ron's value... in fact the only thing that has EVER lowered Rons value is Ron. I'm not sure if it changes the dynamic much though. Now once camp starts if there are teams with a big hole at the 3, then the trade value of Ron will go up bu team will still be taking a huge risk so I just don't see any great trade involving Ron. Best case scenario probably sends us one expiring midlevel contract and very raw kid.
