WOW, Unbelievable, that's all there is to it. Only because it's Ron and so he can make headlines saying "Ron Artest once again suspended". He's the one with the fat lip that needed stitches, not Ginobli. Well, there goes our Playoff chances...unbelievable...thanks a lot NBA.

Damn! I cannot believe that the NBA actually suspended Artest. Playoff games are physical and the refs usually let things fly within reason. This doesn't appear to be within reason.

Hopefully this suspension will light a fire under the rest of the team to do well with Artest's absence. I swear that the NBA rules are interpreted like NASCAR rules. They bend the rules for the favorites, yet tend to punish the known "bad boys" easily.

Unbelievable. Whatever respect I have had for the NBA is gone. Their rules are bull****, the don't apply to everyone and the whole organization is a joke.

It should be noted that there's probably a 10% chance that this is exactly the type of kick in the butt the Kings need -- it could make the rest of the Kings realize that they're not going to be able to rely on Artest to play defense for the entire team and that they had better start showing up. The other guys could play over their heads knowing that Artest is not there to back them up.

Either that or they'll lose by 40 points this time.

Let's hope that's the case..but I think we're at more of a disadvantage now.

Pathetic decision.

The spurs probably whined about it, and since they're the defending champs, the league agreed with them.

Also, They suspended Artest because he IS Ron Artest. If his name was Kobe, Wade, or Lebron, there would be no suspension.

F that! this sucks!

My conspiracy.

I promised myself to not to go to Kingsfans.com until after playoffs (for some reason I don't want to tell, but hey who cares anyway). But I really need to say this:

MY CONSPIRACY IS TRUE! The NBA is really strengthening the Texas Franchise in order to get more fans and viewers as possible to attain the same number of fans since the "Jordan Era". The move is PATHETIC! But really, they're the same ******** running the NBA.

Franchises they have strengthening over the years:

Rockets - due to number of fans of Yao and Grady
Lakers - charismatic player/s
Spurs - same as Lakers
Heat - Shaq fans over the world (also Wade is becoming popular)
Cleveland - so true they get to the free throw line often but they're my second fave team (wow, the NBA guys' plans are working)

I think that's about it. See you guys whenever the playoffs finish.

If somebody has, or sees, a clip of the play, post it here -- this I have to see. A flagrant 2...well all I have to say is Ron got cheated. If you're going to pick up a F2 and get suspended, I want to see the other guy's teeth on the floor.
