Could somebody describe the ovation for Artest? How did the fans respond? Could you feel Arco loving him more and more as the game progressed? I had no access to the game and really want a good description of this. Any Boos or signs?

Slightly lower than Vlades aplause when he watched the Kings the game before the Lakers played. (Can't remember who they played but I know they won)

They also broke out the flames/fire stuff. I don't remember seeing that at a game this year.

Maloofs on hand for tonight... Gavin wearing an Artest Jersey. Arco seemed pretty loud the entire game. Wish I was at the game tonight

Arco was loud. One of the loudest games this year for sure. Artest's welcome was loud & long.. I was proud. I felt bad for Artest when he missed the early free throws, but the fans clapped to support him & he sunk the next one.

Played the Suns, nice comment by Vlade when he said,"I would love to be employed by the Phoenix Suns, they dont do anything."

The ovation at the start was big. But the biggest was when Ronnie dove into the stands....for the ball ;). Classic. You could tell that Arco has been waiting quite a while for someone to show that kind of effort out there. It was awesome, by far the most energy I've seen at Arco in a while. The excitement is back!

That was a great moment. Made me realize how desperate as fans we are for someone to show some real hustle. I like the energy Ron brings & I'm glad he had a good game and a great welcome.

The only reasonthe applause was slightly lower than Vlade's was because the Arrena hadn't filled up yet. I can tellyou that every person that was there was yelling at the top of their lungs.

I agree. The fans were ready for a change, and they are ready to embrace Ron. I noticed that every cheered especially loud every time Ron made a basket, a rebound, or a good move. I'm sure that Ron felt very loved after that game.

ARCO was the place to be last night, I haven't heard her that loud in YEARS! It was so fun and Artest had one of the best and loudest ovations I've ever heard.

It was so loud there at times last night we even got the flags to wave on the scoreboard. I haven't seen that in awhile either.

Everyone was just obesessed with Artest, and it seemed like everything he did was just electric. He really put it all out on the court last night, and when he fell into the seats everyone went wild!

WOW, WHAT A FUN TIME!! I don't regret going there at all, even on a worknight. So worth it. Other things to note that was just melodic was the long pass from Bibby to Martin's slamm in yo face! - that was amazing and the ARCO crowd was so alive too. It felt like a playoff game! :D

First and foremost though, THE KINGS WON - YEAH BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While at the guy my friend called me, he's in Maui right now, said that on ESPN radio they were reporting that Artest was bringing tons of energy to the team. And, ESPN was right for once. The Kings are once again on the tip of the nations sports tongue.

Dude, he's played three games. If you're tormented with this thought this early into his tenure, you're in for a long and painful ride.

OH....He had on new shoes too! That was it all along...The dirty old vibes from Indy were in the painted shoes vs. Boston & Raps! Bye-Bye Sharpie Shoes!

(I admit tho, I did love the last second improvisation)
