The news earlier said that THREE Kings did not practice today - Brad, Peja and Bibby. They didn't say anything about Skinner, so I'm guessing he'll be fine.

Because our players get injuried in practice. I would not be surprise to see Rick have them protected in a bubble ball, like the movie Bubble Boy.

Okay, another update:

1. Bibby is resting his ankle, which has been tweaked several times in the past couple of weeks.
2. Skinner didn't practice today.
3. Peja is expected to practice tomorrow.
4. Adelman still thinks Brad is showing great improvement and could be used in limited minutes as early as game 3.

I mentioned the plastic bubble scenario in another thread, Aleksandar. With our luck at least one of them would suffocate.

i watched the injury to skinner. he stepped on mo's foot and it didnt look that bad. he ran for another few minutes which in basketball is a long time if he was in serious pain. there was a timeout and he even played for a little bit after the timeout. i think he will be fine

Oh, NO!!!! As funny as this is..... and it is..... I just had a menatl image of the bubble "boo-boo" ....

I heard that Brad probably won't play till game 3. Bibby will be fine. Peja may rest until game 2 and bobby I think is the key to the series. When he came into the game against the suns, the kings were down 21-16. from that moment on, the kings went on a 21-7 run and never looked back. I think that bobby had a lot to do with that. If he can bring that kind of energy in the playoffs...look out sonics. KINGS WIN THE SERIES IN 6

bibby + bobby = pure mayhem. i say bobby lights up seattle no matter whos on the floor. seattle has so little post game minus evans grabbing rebounds over us, i feel we can afford to let the players rest. as long as skinner, darius, and kenny can grab rebounds over seattle's big guys, our guard rotation is so stacked that we can take them. bibby, mobley, house, bobby, mo evans. i would take that over allen, ridnour, daniels. as long as the kings big guys can cancel out seattle's, the guards can play and let those other guys get some rest

Our big guys can draw their big guys out of the paint, and Bobby is great at getting into the lane for easy layups. He really adds so much to this team.

The way Skinner shoots he is not drawing anyone out of the paint. Thomas and Songalia maybe if they are hitting their shots. That's why Brad is so important.
