Any update on the black jerseys?...

When are we going to get back to black? I remember someone saying on here that it had to do with too many other teams rocking the black or something. The thing I don't get is black is actually part of our team's colors. It's been a couple of years now, I think its time this young team added bit of swagger, the black alt jerseys would be perfect.

Ther are too many teams with black jerseys. Black jerseys don't make you play any better.
If the NBA wants to save money in this economy they can print up black jerseys for the whole league and put "VISITOR" on them and white jerseys with "HOME" on them. Personally, I like the diferrent colors.

The NBA restricts the number of teams that can have black jerseys. The team just changed jerseys last year. Another change won't be likely to occur for at least a few years.

The store was selling all black ones. I got an artest one a while back that was ALL black and the lettering was too, but it had white trim. It's sweet.

The stores can sell jerseys in almost any color they want, as evidenced by the pink Kings jerseys. They just aren't "authentic" and can't be worn by the team.

perhaps they can change the rules so that teams in the bottom third of the rankings must wear pink away jerseys. the middle third can have their normal away jerseys, and the top third can have black.

that would probably motivate the cellar dwellers to compete.
