Um, bojan, Dickau was laying with his full torso on Caron's legs and he was wincing and trying to get him off. Butler overreacted, but I doubt he would've been in trouble for pushing him off instead of trying to pound on him to send the point home. But if you're a b-ball player, I don't quite blame you for being nervous about knee hyperextensions.
There was absolutely nothing foul on Dickau's part except for unintentionally doing something that caused Butler discomfort. Butler was sitting on his butt with Dickau's full bodyweight on his knees which probably doesn't feel too pleasant.
Maybe not "thug". I'm ok with moron. I'd just like to thank Kobe and his buddies for making it so easy to keep hating them. I really thought it would be hard with the whole roster changing, but really, it's been ok!

Feh, 2000-2002 is going to carry over for a long time. I'm not buying that Caron Butler throwing a punch at Dan Dickau is furthering your hate that much more.
NEW YORK, Dec. 23 -- Los Angeles Lakers forward Caron Butler has been suspended one game without pay for punching New Orleans guard Dan Dickau in the stomach, it was announced today by Stu Jackson, NBA Senior Vice President Basketball Operations.
The incident occurred with 3:27 remaining in the Lakers' 101-89 win over the Hornets last night at STAPLES Center. Butler will serve his suspension when the Lakers host the Miami Heat on Saturday, Dec. 25.
