If the guy were shooting 85% on his FT, my bet is that we would never have waived him, particularly since the Maloofs seemed to be big fans. But when you could take FT lessons from KT and improve, that is not a good thing. That is so much of an embarassment that it almost wouldn't matter how much you might make your team better.
As it is, he is looking like the rookie version of a poor man's Brian Skinner. I hope that he can fix the gaps in his game and work his way onto an NBA roster one day, but I'm not pining over the fact that it probably won't be for the Kings.
