I love how people focus on the agent, not the principal who hired the agent. (Shaking my head).
I've had a very bad feeling the last few days that the Kings were going to get pennies on the dollar for Fox.
I'll wait to see what the actual deal ends up being (assuming it gets done) but this could very well be a disaster.

I'm very worried this get settled through a big multi-team trade where we give up Fox and Kevin and get back Collins and Cam plus a couple so-so first round picks.

Damn it! You can tell DLo wants to put this offer out there but I respect that he’s not.
If we can't get a real offer we should just send him to the hospital for surgery and shut him down and deal with this in the summer.

If this is a deal where we start immediately reading other teams tweeting “that’s what they got Fox for? THATS IT? Why didn’t our team put in an offer cause we definitely could have offered more!” Walk away. I hope we have the sense to just WALK AWAY so we are not the laughing stock of the rest of the league, again.
I am talking to this San Antonio guy on reddit he doesn't even want to do the picks.

The danger is teams will move on. The league is here now, the contract is still there for a short time period, the bidding will never be this quick and easy.
At this point, why not just wait until the off-season if they are getting a sub-par return?
Sure if someone else will offer something cut Spurs out. I don't think we can give him up and get Cam Johnson or John Collins back and Spurs salary and a 2027 pick back.

The Spurs were stockpiling picks for a reason I would think. Every fan wants to keep picks and hope they draft a generational talent. The Spurs, unlike the Kings in Fox's first years are doing this right. The Kings squandered all of Fox's rookie deal and pushed him around in the rotation to every position but the one he was always going to succeed in. The Spurs aren't wasting time, good for them.

Yeah, the clock during the summer is going to be ticking very loudly compared to now. On the other hand, could potentially be more bidders for cap and CBA reasons during the summer from what I've heard. Maybe 6 of one, half-dozen of the other. All things being equal, get 'er done now if at all possible.
