Think about this...it started with Keon Clark when I noticed it...he was great, then we left and went to play for the Jazz, hurt himself and hasn't been anywhere ever since, stuggling to return. Christie. After being traded to the Magic he doesn't play and gets hurt and is awaiting surgery. Matt Barnes, has nto played a minute on the Sixers. And now POSSIBLY...webber?...hurt his knee then when the medical staff told him not to coem back he came back and injured his shoulder, that forced him to leave the game. Vlade, had a decent season before leaving to the Lakers, then stats dropped off and he got hurt and his back was ailing and now he it's all over. Amazing, maybe I'm overdoing it but it is itneresting..

What About ....

Damon Jones, Jon Barry, Michael Stewart, Tony Delk, Rodney Buford, Lawrence Funderburke, Jabari Smith, Gerald Wallace, Jason Williams, Darrick Martin, Jerome James ... anybody else ???

I don't even think he's in the NBA anymore..if he is, I have no clue. I haven't seen him for like the past 2 seasons. I'd like to know where he is myself..anyone know?

And all the players are heartbroken..no other city is better than Sacramento. Just about every player who's played here said they never wanted to leave the Kings..I specifically remember hearing them say it..Keon Clark said it, Jim Jackson said it, Tony Massenburg said it..I'm not even going to go down the list..and look at all the Starters who used to play here and are gone now..you know they didn't want to leave..It's sad. They need a reunion!

Okay, your whole problem starts with that statement. Keon Clark WASN'T great; he was a problem before he got here, he was a problem while he was here although people overlooked it because he was able to block the occasional shot, and he's been a problem since he left. He hasn't been struggling to return. As a matter of fact, he has failed to show up for try-outs with two different teams who actually were willing to look past his failings and consider hiring him.

details;)

Wait don't players that stay here also have bad luck? Ever heard of Bobby Jackson, or Brad Miller??

KP-Injuries come with age. Duncan is having a lot of injuries lately. Shaq has had periennel injuries. We all know about Webber whose had them throughout his career. MJ was one of the few who wasn't really injured (other than his 2nd year) seriously till late in his career. Most big time players who reach there early 30s get injured alot. Malone was also a great example of a player who didn't get injured until late in his career. Bobby is 32 now and ...Brad...Brad....2nd year in a row with a serious late season injury. I hope it doesn't continue.

3rd year in a row -- becoming an annual tradition for him to break down at the end of seasons. A real red flag -- could be Nashlike and just wear out.

I know but Brad is not even that old, I think he's about my age 27 or 28, Bibby broke his foot at 27, and what about Peja he had Plantar Fascitis when he was even younger, and then hurt his back this year, I think the Curse is just on any Kings player at all, whether they leave or they stay here. Either way it just plain sucks.

Someone much more interested in statistics than I might want to take the time to do a little research and find out how many players have gone their entire careers WITHOUT injury. I think the number would be pretty low. It's a physical game. Players get injured, some more than others.

It isn't just the Kings. It feels that way sometimes, but we are not alone. We're all just too myopic about it.

can we shorten the season a bit!!;)

VF-malone didn't miss serious time till he was what 39 and with the lakers. until then i think he missed 1 or 2 games throughout his career unitl 99 where he missed a ton. From 85-86 to 97-98, he missed 3 games. Very sick. After 98-99 he missed a combined 5 games in 4 seasons. 98-99 he missed 33.

I know that.

I'm also saying that MOST players don't make it through their careers without injuries. Giving one example of someone who didn't have serious injuries until late in their career doesn't prove my assumption wrong.

Maybe the word "most" throws them off? :)

Mitch Ritchmond did win a championship after his days in Sacto. Ironically, It was the year the kings ever got closest to reaching the finals. I think the same happened to Oscar Robinson, when he left the Kings organization and played for Milwaukee.

I hope the same happens to Webb, He DESERVES a ring.

Someone needs to lay off the Voodoo. I repeat....DROP THE VOODOO DOLL. Thank you.

If they drop the voodoo doll when it hits the floor that probably means another King breaks his leg right? ;)

When it comes to the Kings, set the voodoo doll down VERY gently on a down comforter and tiptoe out of the room is more like it. :p
