I think Adleman is a decent coach, but it is obvious that he has lost his effectiveness. Look at the attached PDF. His win history shows that he makes a huge impact at first and then the wins start to dissappear. This probably isn't that un common for most coaches. But what does it show?
It shows that over time, players stop listening. Who are the two players that are giving us good hustle? (SAR and Bonzi) Why is that? Could it be because they are new?
If you are a sub, in Adelman's system, you have no chance of really proving yourself. You know that no matter what you do, you will never start. Likewise, if you are a "beloved starter" with Adelman you can do no wrong. So where is the motivation?
I'm posting this "chart" because I thought it was interesting. I'm curious to here your comments.
