Who Should Start at the Power Forward Position for the Remainder of the Season

This thread is amazing. I can't believe people really want to reward Kenny Thomas for pouting when he doesn't start. Maybe Skinner and Corliss could do the same thing and not give 100% effort they come off the bench? Do you think that should earn them a starting position?

The argument that the Kings have a better record with KT starting doesn't wash with me. A much more significant factor in that Bibby, Garcia, and Martin are all playing much better than they did earlier in the season when SAR was starting.

I have yet to see a game this year when it looked like SAR didn't try his hardest. I can't say that about Thomas. Thomas is good trade material right now but when SAR is 100%, Thomas belongs on the bench.

it's not rewarding him for pouting, it's simply playing him as a starter because he seems to perform better as a starter.

when KT comes off the bench, it seems like his effort is good; but the results just haven't been there.

if relegating him to the bench results in zero production, while relagting SAR to the bench gives us some production, then put SAR on the bench. i'm not looking for a long-term, everyone gets along situation, i'm looking for some wins this season. when adelman is gone next season, we can then talk about setting the right environment for the team.

i wouldn't mind if they started shareef because i am tried of watching all 5 of the starters taking jumpers, we need somebody in the post.

And to reguards to thomas wineing to get the starting spot, shareef should do the same thing. Suck as a bench player, argue that he is a starter, and when he does start, play better then he did on the bench on purpose, then he would earn his starting spot back. That looks like the only way somebody gets mins on this team by acting or playing like a baby, not by earing it.

an excerpt from Slam Online's "The Links" for 1/26/06:

[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][SIZE=-1]I had to chance to speak with Shareef after the game...OK, I spoke to him. With his jaw wired shut, he was speaking through his teeth like Hannibal Lecter with the mask on. Reef's been wired up for three weeks now and he says he's lost 15 pounds; he demonstrated this by showing me how his pants are now too big around the waist. He said he can't really brush his teeth inside his mouth. I asked him what would happen if he got sick and had to throw up, and he said he carries around wire-cutters at all times just in case that situation um, arises. Hang in there, Reef.

How incredible would that be to see 'Reef toss his cookies while wired shut, only to have to run to get his wire cutters while he chokes on his puke? Man, poor guy.

So he's at -15 lbs now? Wonder how much he's going to lose by the time he finally gets de-wired....
