Gutsy W. Respect. If we lost today - yesterday battle would be for none.
Elite specialists in any field have pride. And guts. These last 2 games showed everyone that Kings have plenty of talent. Skills.
DC best winning streak is 7 (marvelous games). Now we have 2 Ws. We need to get those last 3 games at home, then win 2 play-in games and 1st game on the road in OKC. That will count for 8 game winning streak. I'm in :)
BTW, during the Fox-exit, I watched some of the Fox's highlights with Kings. I chuckled a bit. Sure, Fox is this and that, but man, how much space Domas was making for him in the paint or hitting him with the right passes. I thought to myself then "Could luck Foxy with Wemby".
It took some time, but Zach now shows that he is "getting" how to use what Domas and other guys can make for him on offense. Of course, Zach's ability to go bananas on his own is a rare thing. He alone won half a dozen games for Bulls this season, just Kings talent is more mature. Bulls young guys are a beauty, but nobody can have it all.
Edit: oooops, I made fool of myself - Kings have 3 straight Ws. I hope I didn't jinx anything (though I never jinx things in life ;) ). Still, I'm looking forward for Kings win in game #1 against OKC.

How do you have 12 rebounds in 13 minutes?

That's roughly a rebound on every defensive possession miss for almost a full quarter. He literally got all the defensive rebounds for a quarter. Simply nutty.
He had 9 rebounds the first 4 minutes (all in Q1) I think most of them were offensive, three of them in the same possession trying to tip the ball in the basket. Kings were 17-5 in rebounds in 1st quarter.

It just goes to show, if the Kings can score points, they can hang with anyone. That stretch at the end of March where they scored 108, 95, 128, 91, and 109 points was devastating and deflating. The single win came versus Portland.

The problem is I have that wizards (bullets) game in the back of my brain. I wanna believe, I really do!
It is indeed hard to get games like that one out of your head. I'm right there with you.

Every time I write them off after a few uninspired losses, they do something just like this and roll off a couple wins against some good teams.

According to one report, Malik Monk has "right calf soreness," and is listed as "questionable" for tomorrow night against Denver.

It sounds like a short-term problem requiring rest.
