Mister Slim Says:

HERE WE GO AGAIN! (Here we go again!)

SAME OLD SONG AGAIN! (Same old song again!)

MARCHING DOWN THE AVENUE! (Marching down the avenue!)

FIVE MORE GAMES, AND WE'LL BE THROUGH! (Five more games, and we'll be through!)

Kings went 1-4 on the road trip, and now are back in Sacramento for the antepenultimate and penultimate home games of the season. New Orleans is in a tailspin, and you might think that they were tanking, except for the fact that, if they finish with a worse record than the Bucks (whom they are currently five and a half games behind in the standings), their pick goes to the Hawks, which would make tanking totally pointless. As I have said before, I am philosophically anti-tank, while also being of the opinion that, if you're going to do it, do it right, so seeing the Kings win another game on the backs of their veterans struck me as funny, and not the good kind of funny...

Well, the Kings have no reason to win, and the Pelicans have no reason to lose, so expect Sacramento to light the beam tonight!

Play the kids.

The immense pride I will feel looking into the foggy backyard and seeing THE BEAM cutting through it all like a beacon of hope for our future is what I live for! Earn your dollars, Precious. Lead us to the promised land DeMar! I dearly miss seeing Westbrook out there, but he needs to be ready for next year so rest up leader man.

Let’s go!!!!

Last time I was ejected from a game, I told the ref, "hey, I'm about to get mad. Eject me." He complied. It gave the kids the energy they needed, so...

Seeing DeMar got to go crazy in front of the Toronto crowd , his first and hopefully next team, passing Dominique Wilkins on the all time scoring leader list, wonder if he might play limited minutes today. Or is that just a ridiculous request?
DeMar, is close to catching a few more players on that list, but not this year.

Malik Monk is out for "personal reasons" after earlier being questionable due to shoulder soreness. All very questionable.
I will not be surprised if Monk and Debo take turns taking a night off. Personally I’m bummed because I am at the game and love watching Monk

Herb Jones is a great defender but I’m not sure why the Pels are having him guard Maxine Raynaud, who has like half a foot on him.

I'm going to laugh like a crazy person if Zion Williamson makes the All-NBA team because he, of all people, ends up being the healthiest available option.
