Tonight doesn’t even matter. What matters is getting out of this funk. 9 games left in March. Win 4 of them and then win 5 of 7 in April. 42 wins gets you a crack at the playoffs via play in. Worry about roster changes in the offseason.

What we have ladies and gentlemen is a SOFT team.
Forget about the talent, this team has zero leaders, no fight. Sabonis got rag dolled and nobody batted a eye. If Christie rolls out the same lineup next game my faith will be lost.

Grizzlies and Bulls are winnable games so we’ll see. No one wants to hear excuses but big injuries right after big trades and clear momentum building is just impossible to handle. Lakers are losing 2-3 games in a row for the very same reason - but they have a cushion to fall back on. I still don’t think the suns or mavs will catch us

I honestly legitimately hope that Monty can look at this situation and take responsibility for putting together a fairly imbalanced lineup and probably not encouraging his coach too address some of that in his starters. It’s a tough call for Doug to move starters to the bench as an interim coach, but that’s an obvious beginning if this team is going to do anything with the remainder of this year

In regards to Lavine, his whole game should be:
10 threes a game. Some off DHO, some design plays, some step backs.
pump fake on some threes. Drive to the basket. If the lane is there get to the rack for foul or bucket.
hockey assist threes. Drive, spray and one more pass for open threes. The suns cooked us on those and so did the Warriors. It’s why Mike said it over and over to the point of it being obnoxious.
Simple stuff. Instead he gets bench role player looks for most of this game
