No, you're right. I couldn't actually pick a different team at this point. It would just be a matter of transitioning to rooting for players that I enjoy watching instead of a franchise.
 
Reading through the start of the Athletic article, which seems to trash Vivek and his family and the front office.

Let's not boo Fox. Let's appreciate what he did with us, while he was paid and supported by Vivek and co. While the front office chose him over Hali and surrounded him with talent like Sabonis et al. Let's appreciate how much Fox loved Mike Brown, who he played so hard for, and was so let down and so free of blame when Mike was shown the door after that winless stand at home.

If Fox simply wanted to play in San Antonio and could move forward while showing some gratitude and self awareness, I would like him more.

I may be right there too, depending on how Vivek'd up this offseason is.

Slim has been out of the team rooting biz for years, and he seems alright! :p

I read that more as a contributing circumstance which might explain why she chose to leave that position. Not that she was at fault but more that it would likely spook anyone if one of your employees went and murdered someone on a work trip then came in and continued working for weeks like nothing was wrong.
 
I just got an alert from my “the score” betting app that sabonis is asking the kings for clarification on the direction of the franchise. That doesn’t sit well with me. Is he worried about who’s in charge? Is he worried that his prime years are being wasted?

I just find it funny, is winning not the goal? Last I checked things were trending up and the Kings didn't do anything at the deadline to necessarily indicate they are wasting anyone's time here. Does kind make you wonder if the Kings adding JV was something he was totally on board with. Now he's got legit competition at that spot, might be a bit uneasy.
